Let's get to know each other! Shoot me a note with any details you know. This could include what kind of session you're interested in, who you are, and anything you were thinking for your session. I'll send you a note back within a day or so and we'll get the conversation going!
02. Pick a Date & Time
If you have a specific date you need the session to be - definitely share that! Otherwise, share the season you were hoping for and I'll send you a list of the dates and times I have available. We'll nail down the perfect date and time for the session!
03. Pick a Location
Next, we'll figure out where we'll do the session. I have the inside scoop on all the picture-perfect locations around the area to match the 'vibe' you're going for! If you have a specific location in mind - definitely share it with me! I'm always up for an adventure!
04. We'll Plan a Timeline
Booking a wedding? I'll use my years of wedding experience to help you put your vision for your day into an ideal timeline.
Planning a regular session? We'll talk through all the details of where we'll meet and what we'll do during the session!
05. We'll Take a TON of Photos
I'll check in about a week before your session to nail down all the final details!
When your session rolls around, we'll hang out and snap tons of cute photos. We'll do some staged photos and I'll give you some prompts to get cute candids. It'll be so much fun!
06. Gallery Delivery
You'll get a few teasers within a few days of your session. When all your photos are ready, I'll send you a link to your gallery where you can download any or all of your photos to use however you please!
FAQ
How many photos will I get in my gallery?
It depends on your session type! A normal family session or senior session will get about 100 photos. A typical wedding gets about 500-850 final images, depending on the length of wedding coverage.
I will never limit the amount of images delivered to you. I'll remove any blurry or bad images, as well as duplicates of photos, but you'll get all the remaining original photos!
Do you travel?
I am happy to travel for your session! I'm here for big adventures!
Photoshoots further than an hour's drive from Centerville, Ohio, will require additional (reasonable) travel expenses.
How far in advance should I book my session?
The earlier, the better! I recommend booking your session at least 2 months in advance, especially during peak seasons like spring and fall. Wedding and large event photography often requires booking 6-12 months ahead to ensure availability. Weekend slots fill up quickly, so if you have a specific date in mind, don't wait to reach out! I'm happy to work with you to find the perfect time that fits our schedules!
How long will it take for my gallery to be delivered?
If you booked a family, newborn, maternity, or senior session, it normally takes about 2-3 weeks to deliver your full gallery.
If you booked a wedding, it typically takes about 2 months to deliver your full wedding gallery (but I promise I'll share plenty of teasers while your wait!)
Can we bring our dog?!
Yes, please! I love meeting your pups!
If you do, I'd suggest bringing an extra person along to your session to keep track of your pups in-case they need a break during photos or if we choose to take some photos without them. (But seriously, I'll give them all the head scratchies, and we'll be besties by the end of the session!)
What if there's icky weather during my scheduled session?
No worries about unpredictable weather! If rain, extreme heat, or unexpected conditions threaten our original date, we'll reschedule at no additional cost. We’ll find another date that works for both of us, typically within a week or two of the original session. I'll keep a close eye on the weather forecast and reach out if I think we might need to adjust our plans. (But also, sometimes those dramatic cloudy skies can create the most surprisingly stunning photos!)
